How does Runsheet make money?
Posting a job brief, finding factories and listing as a consultant are free, and they stay free. Factories pay a membership to respond to briefs and connect with brands. Brands and consultants can pay for Pro-Studio, our production toolkit. No commissions, no paying to bid.
Can factories pay for a better ranking?
No. There are no paid placements, ever. A Verified badge means a real person confirmed the profile, and reviews come only from brands that produced with the factory.
Do I need an account to use the directories and tools?
No. Browsing the directories and the free tools needs no account. A free account unlocks job briefs, saved factories and your first tech pack draft.
Can I bring in what I already have in Excel or Notion?
Yes. Import your styles from CSV, Excel, Notion, Airtable or an existing PDF tech pack, and export your styles, bills of materials and purchase orders as CSV any time. Pro-Studio also connects to Shopify, QuickBooks, Google Calendar and Slack.
Do my factories need to sign up?
No. Factories reply to sampling rounds and quotes by email with no login, and can use a free workspace if they want one. They only pay if they want to respond to briefs and connect with new brands.
I'm a consultant. Is Runsheet for me too?
Yes. Run every client from one dashboard, give each client a free portal where they approve work, turn proposals into milestones and invoices, and take card payments straight to your bank. Listing in the consultant directory is free.
Is my data private?
Your styles, tech packs, costing and client data are visible only to you and the people you invite. Factories see only what you choose to share with them. We don't sell your data or use it to train AI models.
